Talitha Ford is a student and Genetics research assistant living in Iowa. She spends her days at a microscope looking at worms and writes poetry at night or in the gaps between experiments. She likes to focus on modern vernacular as poetry, and attributes this to a strange email exchange involving her cactus, Copernicus (sadly, not pictured).
