Deep in the Valley of Gwangi, a posse of bored literature fans, cat fanatics, and T-Rex enthusiasts all pondered one pressing question: Why isn’t there a dreamy lit press that publishes a variety of writing that’s accessible to all?
Also graffiti?
If you're a fan of literature that marries art and graffiti, we're the lit press of your dreams. Meow Meow Pow Pow is a broadside press that takes short prose and poems and creates art to accompany it. Once that art is done, we make it into a free broadside that you can download, print out, and share wherever you want the words to be seen. Wheatpaste it, make it into a paper airplane, crumble it and toss it in the wastepaper basket for an impromptu literature basketball game. We don’t care, so long as you get the words out.
MMPP wants to create works of art that are accessible to all, not just an elite few. We believe in inclusivity and intersectionality and individuality. Submit your poetry, prose, pain, partying, putridity, or panoply of librettos on the current theme to our crack team. We love you.
Pow! Pow!

Your art is safe in our hands, and even if we don't accept it this time around, we welcome re-submissions and re-re-re-submissions.

WELL, HI! WE DIDNT SEE YOU COME IN!
Give the People What They Want.
Meow Meow Pow Pow is a broadside graffiti press that publishes prose, poetry, pain, prettiness, and putridity based on a
revolving theme. Created by a posse of bored literature devotees, T-Rex enthusiasts, and cat fanatics, our crack team wants to see
your words made into bitty posters to share, and wheatpaste, and fashion into paper planes that will glide and decimate in the
ether and become the fabric of the universe.
We welcome all little pups and cantankerous kitties. Inclusivity is our favorite flavor.
