Julian née Sara Mithra writes about things that haven’t happened and never could happen. If the Color Is Fugitive (Nomadic Press, 2018) was a finalist for a Lambda Literary Award in Transgender Poetry. For a Master’s in Folklore from Berkeley, Sara dressed up as a 19th century anthropologist and ventriloquized through a copper pipe. Born and raised in golden California, they eke out a living in the Bay Area by encouraging young people to write. Current projects include an experimental novel wherein a tomboy explores abandoned mines under threat of deportation.

Priyanka Kapoor works at the writing center of Vedica Scholars Programme for Women. She is a postgraduate in English literature from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University.
