Carl “Papa” Palmer of Old Mill Road in Ridgeway, Virginia, now lives in University Place, Washington. He is retired from the military and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is enjoying life as “Papa”to his grand descendants. Carl is also a Franciscan Hospice volunteer and former Pushcart Prize and Micro Award nominee.
