"Kemuel DeMoville is an award-winning playwright whose work has been produced internationally every year since 2005. Recently his work was performed at The Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles, and was the recipient of both the Residents Prize for Playwriting, and the Hawaii Prize for Playwriting from Kumu Kahua Theatre. He is also the recipient of the 2017 Milken Prize for playwriting. Kemuel DeMoville is an Aurand Harris Fellow by designation of the Childrens Theatre Foundation of America. He has an MFA in playwriting from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and his MA in syncretic theatre is from Victoria University of Wellington in Aotearoa New Zealand. His work has been published by Spider Magazine, YouthPLAYS, Heuer Publishing, Rappahannock Review, Sediments Literary-Arts Journal, and is included in "222 MORE Comedy Monologue" an anthology from Smith and Kraus Publishers."
Lucas Peel likes the idea of strangers, vegetables, and defacing things in the name of art. He does not like vinegar, rules, or high places, though he is willing himself to at least understand the purpose of all three. One time Neil Hilborn told him that his poems were pretty. He currently lives in Aiea, Hawaii.
Rochelle Newman-Carrasco earned an MFA from Antioch, Los Angeles with an emphasis on Creative Non Fiction and Literary Translation. Her work has been published in Lunch Ticket, Lilith, The Forward, Role Reboot, NAILED, Ad Age and other literary and ad industry publications. Her bilingual children's book, Zig Zag, co-authored with Alonso Nuñez, will be published this year. Rochelle has performed stand-up and wrote and produced a one-woman show which received positive reviews in the LA Times and LA Weekly. Melanie Page is a former English professor and the creator of Grab the Lapels, a site for reviews of books by women.
