wrestling poetry and mayhem
Introducing the challenger! Superfan Wrestling Zine!
Welcome to Superfan! Our teeny tiny wrestling zine dedicated to the art of professional wrestling and poetry (and other stuff, too). Superfan is released twice a year with two very brief reading periods. Our zine is themed (just like Meow Meow Pow Pow); it's our small love letter to the intersection of wrestling and verse. Printed in Philly, every zine is handsewn (sometimes clumsily, sometimes successfully) and curated with lots of care and consideration to honor two of the things we love the most (and also, Superfan icon: Easy Mac, the cat). We hope you love Superfan as much as we love making it.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES [OPEN TWICE A YEAR
Our Submission window is currently opened.
Submissions are through Meow Meow Pow Pow's Submittable because that shit is expensive and we can't afford multiple Submittables.
Length of the work: Prose? Our sweet spot is between 150 to 250 words. Poems? Let’s try to keep it under 15 lines, bbz. No more than two pieces per submission. If you are rejected, please wait until the next open window to submit. If you've been accepted by Meow Meow Pow Pow within the last year, please wait a year until you submit again (blog posts are excluded)
theme: Dear Easy Mac
We invite you to contribute to a zine we're calling DEAR EASY MAC, a tribute to the legend Easy Mac but also to create a space to write and share about disenfranchised grief, or, more broadly, grief that goes unacknowledged, which can make us feel embarrassed or isolated.
To submit, like in a 90s magazine, write us by writing to Easy Mac with the subject line/title "Dear Easy Mac", followed by what you want to share. A letter, a poem, a memory. Maybe about a pet you've lost, a relationship, a friend you miss. Your grief is valid and important.
The zine will be made up of all these entries, a chorus of Dear Easy Macs, handstitched and published by MMPPLit and Superfan Zine.
Open: Dec 16th - Dec 31st
Max word count: 200

WANNA GRAB A COPY? HERE IS HOW
Our second issue is among us! It's a teensy sweet reflection on the anniversary of the legendary View Never Changes promo. We take orders through Big Cartel. Here is the little linky link to the store: Grab A Copy!
Give the People What They Want.
Meow Meow Pow Pow is a broadside graffiti press that publishes prose, poetry, pain, prettiness, and putridity based on a
revolving theme. Created by a posse of bored literature devotees, T-Rex enthusiasts, and cat fanatics, our crack team wants to see
your words made into bitty posters to share, and wheatpaste, and fashion into paper planes that will glide and decimate in the
ether and become the fabric of the universe.
We welcome all little pups and cantankerous kitties. Inclusivity is our favorite flavor.
